The well known actor has decided to open his own series of comic books, as he stated in an interview that he always liked comic books and they had major part in his creativity, growing up with them and never giving them up, starting October 7th the first book of his own series will be released to the public.

The Hollywood action man has teamed up with New York Times bestselling graphic writer Matt Kindt to provide a 12-issue comic-book series, “BRZRKR.” Illustrated by Alessandro Vitti and distributed through Boom! Studios, that additionally publishes “Power Rangers” and “Bill and Ted,” the comic centers on a violent demigod who has been wandering the earth, searching for answers regarding his existence.
“He finally found his place, after wandering the planet for ages, working for the Government to fight everything that was too violent and too dangerous for anyone else,” the synopsis reads.
While Reeves could also be venturing into new territory along with his latest project, the “John Wick” actor says he has always been a comic-book fan.
“I have always admired comic books since I was a young kid and they were a major influence on me artistically,” stated Keanu Reeves.
In an interview with the USA these days, Reeves disclosed that at one point he harbored dreams of taking part in Wolverine and now he would “love to play Berzerker.” “It’s an extremely fun story therefore if it’s not me,” he added, “hopefully somebody will play it.” Kindt, who has worked on a variety of major titles, as well as “Spider-Man” and “Justice League of America,” said during a statement that “BRZRKR” was a “potent cocktail of all the items that we love: the story of an immortal individual laced with history, conspiracies, spirituality, and a huge serving to of bonkers action and violence — all with intense purpose and ultimately a heartbreaking discovery.” The first installment of “BRZRKR” is scheduled for print and digital publication on Oct 7.
